This week I have been working with these beautiful silk flowers. I am fascinated by the quality and beauty of them. The peonies above make a very elegant English wedding bouquet, especially with handmade stems of freshwater pearls. I have finished the stems of the peonies by wrapping them in cream silk.
After exhausting myself making silk flower wedding bouquets I moved onto these sweet little hydrangea cupcakes. They are perfect for wedding place settings or you could put them on a cake stand in the centre of your table. These items along with many others I have been making will soon be available to buy from my Etsy store, coming soon....x
So this week I've put down the polymer clay in exchange for crafting sweetie name places with paper. I've really enjoyed using coloured card and then translating the same project into a monochrome coloured theme.
I think these fun sweetie name places work really well either way, what's your favourite? Keep looking out on my craft blog for Wedding magazine to see the full project...x
After a flurry of orders I've been having a digital day today in the studio. I've been busy uploading completed cake toppers and craft projects to my Facebook page Jasmine Burgess Crafts so please have a look to see my latest work in progress!
I'm also excited to share with you my button napkin rings that are featured in this month's Brides Magazine! They are available in a rainbow of colours with matching ribbon!
This week I was invited by the wonderful team at Wedding Magazine to feature as their weekly craft blogger!
I am so happy to be asked and so excited to share my ideas with their readers and anyone that loves craft like I do. My studio seems to resemble something out of Blue Peter with coloured ribbons, sticky back plastic and even my pets were helping out!
I hope that even if your not planning a wedding that you will take a look and try some of the craft projects as they can also be applied to other celebrations such as Birthday's, Anniversaries and Christenings.
The Wedding Magazine blog has also inspired me to start my own craft blog sharing general ideas. I look forward to posting some fun and easy to make craft projects and hearing your comments!
